UI strings — VersoPay dashboard in Italian

Fictional brand. VersoPay does not exist. This page shows the format of a real deliverable — no third-party logos, no real data. Layout is our own; the craft is what you are buying.

KeyENITNote
dash.balanceAvailable balanceSaldo disponibile18/18 — 'Saldo' is the banking term ('bilancio' is accounting); 'disponibile' matches the EBA glossary.
dash.pendingPending settlementsLiquidazioni in attesa21/24 — 'settlement' → 'liquidazione' is the Italian payment-scheme term; 'insediamento' would be a false friend.
dash.cta.payMake a paymentEffettua un pagamento18/20 — 'Effettua' is the standard formal CTA in Italian banking UX; 'Fai un pagamento' is too informal for B2B money movement.
dash.cta.exportExport statementEsporta estratto conto19/20 — 'estratto conto' is the fixed collocation (two words, no hyphen); 'dichiarazione' is a false friend.
dash.empty.txNo transactions in the selected periodNessuna transazione nel periodo selezionato41/44 — 'transazione' is the accepted banking term; 'operazione' is used by some legacy banks, documented as client preference here.
dash.alert.limitYou have reached your monthly transfer limitHai raggiunto il limite di bonifici mensile35/40 — 'transfer' → 'bonifici' (SEPA credit transfers): Italian users say bonifico, not trasferimento.
dash.alert.failedThe payment could not be processed. Contact support.Il pagamento non è stato elaborato. Contatta l'assistenza.54/60 — passive per formal register; 'elaborato' matches the PSD2 Italian terminology.
dash.kyc.ctaComplete your verificationCompleta la verifica18/24 — 'KYC' stays in the code key but the label speaks human: Italian banking apps say 'verifica' or 'identificazione'.
dash.kyc.statusVerification in progressVerifica in corso17/20 — fixed Italian administrative formula; 'in progresso' does not exist.
dash.filter.dateLast 30 daysUltimi 30 giorni16/16 — 'ultimi' not 'scorsi': date-range filters in Italian analytics UIs use 'ultimi'.
dash.filter.applyApply filtersApplica filtri14/16 — imperative singular per voice spec; 'Applica' also avoids the double-f of 'Applica i filtri' (16/16 would fit, but the articleless form is cleaner in buttons).
dash.toast.savedSettings savedImpostazioni salvate18/20 — 'salvate' not 'salvato': Italian agrees with the plural subject where English uses a generic past participle.

2 · Conventions shipped with the strings

  • Formal register ('tu' but with formal verbs) per B2B fintech voice spec — money is serious
  • Italian payment terminology per EBA/PSD2 glossary: bonifico, addebito diretto, saldo, liquidazione
  • Status labels use 'in corso' / 'completata' / 'non riuscita' — the three-state set never varies
  • English terms stay only where the ecosystem keeps them: SEPA, IBAN, BIC, KYC (in code keys only)
  • No exclamation marks anywhere — B2B money UI stays flat
